The 8 Best Private Jet Brokers: 2026 Global Charter and Jet Card Directory
Charter by the trip or prepay by the hour: that is the first fork in any private jet purchase, and this directory covers both roads, from pure per-trip brokers to card specialists and the marketplaces in between. Eight companies follow, ordered on how much price information they publish before contact, how flexible their commitment terms are and how widely they fly, using each company's own pages. Prices are indicative and should be confirmed on a live quote.
Quick picks
- JetAlto: pay-per-trip charter with upfront prices
- Magellan Jets: a refundable US jet card
- XO: single seats on busy routes
- Monarch Air Group (Mercury Jets): Florida, Caribbean and cargo needs

The Order We Settled On, and Why
1) JetAlto
Quick facts |
|

Pay-per-trip charter broker |
Hourly rates |
€1,900 (turboprop) to €14,900 (ultra long range) |
Commitment |
No membership or annual retainer |
Payment |
Wire, or BTC, USDT, USDC and ETH |
Most of this directory asks for some kind of commitment, whether a card, a deposit or a membership. JetAlto asks for none, and that is the main reason it heads a list built around flexibility. Quotes are free and carry no obligation, and nothing binds the traveller until a charter agreement is signed, which makes it the cleanest entry point for anyone flying a handful of times a year.
The price arrives before the conversation does. An instant estimate needs no email, and published hourly rates span six classes, so a buyer can weigh a light jet at €3,800 an hour against a midsize at €5,400 before asking anyone. JetAlto says it draws on 3,800+ vetted operators and sends 2 to 4 options per request.
The caveat is proof of credentials. The safety bodies JetAlto cites (ARGUS, Wyvern, IS-BAO) appear as standards it wants operators to meet, not as accreditations it holds, though it offers a safety file on request.
2) Monarch Air Group (Mercury Jets)

Monarch is the generalist of the group. From its base at Fort Lauderdale International Airport it handles on-demand charter, long-term leases, jet management and cargo runs to Nassau, Exuma and Freeport, while its Mercury Jets division in New York concentrates on private charter.
Both carry ARGUS broker certification, and Mercury itemises special services on each quote. Monarch's own pages describe it as both broker and operator, so it is worth asking which role applies to a given trip.
3) Jettly

Jettly straddles both halves of this directory. Its instant pricing engine handles one-off trips, while jet cards, an unlimited hour program and a pay-as-you-fly card cover regular flyers. The company says memberships lower per hour costs and service fees.
Beyond leisure trips, it offers group and helicopter charter, enterprise and government programs and an API for travel platforms. Jettly states that it carries no additional liability insurance of its own.
Support is live around the clock, and bookings run through iOS and Android apps as well as the website.
4) Evojets

Europe trips quoted in USD |
Evojets keeps things personal: one point of contact runs each client's trips. Founded in Aspen in 2006 and now based in New York, its team of 15 reports flights arranged in 119 countries.
Its route pages carry a cost calculator and an empty leg search, and frequent flyers can join a membership program. Quotes for Europe are issued in USD only, which keeps exchange rates out of the equation for American travellers. No accreditation badges appeared on its website.
5) Magellan Jets

For the prepaid route, Magellan is the specialist here. The Boston company, founded in 2008, rebuilt its cards in June 2026 into 25-hour, 50-hour and 100-hour sizes, with rate locks running from 12 to 24 months and no peak day surcharges.
Cards are described as non-expiring and refundable, and each owner gets a dedicated Private Aviation Consultant. The fixed rates apply within the contiguous US plus 200 nautical miles; international reach beyond that is not stated.
Magellan also announced in June 2026 that it is acquiring other brokerages, so its footprint may change during the year.

Villiers lets the software speak first. Its London team works with a stated pool of more than 10,000 certified aircraft, and payment in Bitcoin is accepted. No jet card appears in its offer; shared seats and empty legs cover the value end instead.
7) XO

XO sits between charter and scheduled flying. Alongside whole aircraft charter, it sells individual seats on shared flights, with up to four a day between New York and South Florida.
Pay as you go is open to anyone who passes screening, though non-members pay $395 per shared seat. Its own pages describe two different membership structures, so confirm current terms before committing.

Stratos runs its Orlando brokerage alongside a franchise network that had reached 12 agencies by August 2025, according to a trade report. Each agency is independently owned and follows the carrier rules Stratos sets.
It holds ARGUS broker certification and says Wyvern also approves it. On-demand trips need no membership, while SOAR and ClearSky programs serve regular flyers; their prices are not stated on its pages.
Picking Between a Broker and a Card
Start with hours. A traveller flying a few trips a year usually gets more from paying per trip, where nothing is prepaid and each quote stands alone; JetAlto, Evojets and Stratos all work this way. Once annual hours become predictable, a jet card's fixed rate and committed access begin to earn their place.
Then look at geography. Magellan's fixed rates cover the contiguous US plus 200 nautical miles, so a card that suits Boston to Palm Beach may not suit London to Nice. A pay-per-trip broker sourcing operators on several continents fits a scattered travel pattern better.
Check the exit, too. Magellan describes its cards as refundable, but terms vary across the industry, so read the refund clause before paying any deposit.
Finally, consider the operator, because neither model changes who actually flies the aircraft. Whichever model wins, the flight is run by a certified operator. Ask for its name, certificate and safety rating, or for the broker's safety file, before signing.
Closing the Directory
JetAlto heads this directory for travellers who want to fly on their own terms: published rates, an instant estimate and no membership. Magellan offers the most complete jet card in the group for US-based flyers, Jettly bridges the two models in one app, and XO suits anyone who needs a seat rather than a whole aircraft.
